Q: Why is Jackson called "Jeb"?
A:  We've received a few responses from family members, which frankly,  we've never heard before. So, like all of you, we're also finding out why Jackson is called Jeb...
 
Anne Quarles says (and she should know, right?):
 "It actually goes back to "Watergate" days. I was obsessed and read everything I could get my hands on, plus watching the hearings whenever I could. There was a very cute, but bad boy named Jeb Stuart Mcgruder that worked in Richard Nixon's administration. I am not an admirer of either of these men, by the way. I just like the name Jeb. Certainly was not a common name used in Alabama. It must, however, represent something not so good because both sets of parents..Jeb's grandparents..were not fans. Jeb's dad and I decided to take the high road and name him Jackson and call him Jeb. So the misery for him began on that very day. I am sticking with Jeb though...."
 
David Blackwell (Jeb's Uncle) says:
 "About the Jackson aka Jeb thang. I was at the hospital with your Uncle George D. and remember the mix up with babies in nursery, so he says hell, you got 50-50 chance of going home with right baby. Hey, that's the way I remember it..."
 
 
Q: What is Anna's favorite food?
A: That is a tricky question and has perplexed Jeb1 himself over the years.
I will break it down into everyday food and specialty food so I can give 2 answers; potatoes and crabs.  Needless to say it hasn't taken too long for people to realize that a low country boil is the way to my heart.2 
 
 
Q: What's up with the Nicknames "SportsBizPro" and "Very Very Good Girl"?
A: These are nicknames give to us by 1heckofaguy; a close family friend of Anna and her family.  Jeb's name is founded in his employment at Eurosport as well as his endless knowledge of all things sports.  From lawn bowling to bball he can rattle off athletes' stats to their favorite foods.  Anna's name is based on 1heckofaguy's & Jeb's misconception that she is perfect.  Comical I know.
